TECHNICAL OFFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

At Pukekohe Swimming Club we strongly encourage parents of siwmmers to train to be a timekeeper at swim meets, especially club nights.  Without your help we would be unable to run our club nights.  Once you have qualified as a timekeeper, it is possible to train as an IOT (Inspector of Turns) - again, without parents acting in this capacity, we would not be able to run any Swimming New Zealand ratified meets.  Should you wish to further your qualifications, Pukekohe Swimming Club will assist you in becoming a regionally qualified Starter, Judge of Stroke and Referee.  All nationally qualified officials from Pukekohe Swimming Club, started out as timekeepers, many of which are still assisting our club, long after their own children have finished swimming.
